Aye, a pill to help with obesity.
A knee-jerk Post, with no apologies.
Just heard a speaker on the Radio News reiterating that a pill alone will not help with the obesity problem which affects massive numbers of individuals in this country.
Thank goodness she was allowed to share that key fact.
Obesity
Lifestyle changes are needed.
Education, understanding.
Tough love though, is not enough.
Obesity is a huge emotional problem.
It is essential that the individual is prepared and able to maintain a required lifestyle change.
Stress, Emotions, Beliefs, Social Aspects need to be seen as part of the whole picture.
So much more is required from our government.
This is a critical problem and offering a pill is not good.
I will share my Healthy Eating, Healthy Lifestyle Programme and a testimonial.
I share because it highlights the enormity of the problem.
A programme like this is needed on a grand scale.
The emotional barrier has to be successfully overcome before a healthier lifestyle can be introduced and managed.
Education and commitment has to be offered to those willing to swallow the pill.
Side effects to this treatment need to be explained.
It’s difficult to harp on anymore because I feel this miracle pill is a waste of time.
Ignorance by future recipients has to be enormous.
