On December 31st 2015 I discovered Sarah Arrow’s Blog Challenge; I started January 1st.

I naively expected to do blogs of 250 words, did appreciate that I might be held accountable by colleagues and I chickened out of asking Herb to edit just incase hours of work was heaved back at me.
My posts are written in my style, sometimes with fun asides which I believe are important when a topic is serious and emotionally charged.
Are 250 words enough for a Post?
Yes if you keep to task however I quickly realised that fresh website copy requires longer posts.
Did I achieve 250 words or less?
Today I did and I think I can do again; it’s all relative to what you want to say and of course rambling is taboo.
What was my biggest learning?
- It takes me several hours from start to ‘Publish’.
- Writing regularly is something I enjoy.
Benefit:
- It offered growth, opportunity to reach a wider audience, and self- satisfaction.
Conclusion:
I took the necessary time and effort, felt good about the challenge and benefited greatly from Sarah’s generous sharing of knowledge and valuable information.
I wanted the posts to be good enough so that re-editing is not required when plonking the new copy onto my revamped website. (that remains to be seen!)
When I stick my head above the parapet, share my opinion and insight I have a sense of wanting to be heard, however I can only ever do my best.

You did the challenge and that\’s what matters! Removing the endless ramble has been a helpful part of my process as well. Glad to see you made it through!
2 days left. Mind is bit quiet. Will see what drifts in tomorrow. X Thanks
