So, I’m starting the New Year with two challenges; challenges I have quietly and effectively avoided for some time.
Funny how we can be very succesful at doing that!
And my challenges are?
1. I have re-joined a gym. Previously I was a gym or Curves member since forever. However I have managed to take 18 months off. Not really a great idea. I golf and play tennis, garden and walk but the cardio and burning off of some calories was sidelined. Some folks get away with that and some don’t. I don’t. I believe I need to do some of the puffing and panting bit so because I believe it, it must be true. I am what I believe to be true.
Also I am off to Australia in mid-March to visit my daughter and prefer to go there looking and feeling a little better.
2. I have joined Sarah Arrow’s 30 day Blog Challenge, definitely an area in need of improvement. I may prattle, do musings, short posts. Time and effort is required so for the moment my posts will be whatever they turn out to be. I work in the world of helping others to clear Overwhelm, Anxiety, Trauma and I don’t intend to strive for perfection or to compete with others but I do want to learn.
I’m up for the challenge and hope that my readers and clients enjoy my efforts. I also want it to be FUN and if the ‘I’m not good enough’ voice kicks in, I will deal with it. One’s belief system, subconscious and mindset are powerful forces. (I have some great resources for stress, mindset, emotional transformation which I can share in future posts, when I back in full working mode).
I have not made resolutions as I do not believe in them. I have made decisions which I am happy and relieved about. The pressure is now off and with that I say, ‘Cheerio until tomorrow’.
