What an honour. I have been short-listed for an award in The Portsmouth News: Inspirational Woman of the Year. This is amazing and perhaps some work on ‘I don’t deserve’ may be required……..
The awards are later this week and I had a quick peek at the competition. I am indeed in good company. I see them to be valued and worthy members of our local community. Good Luck to us all.
But back to this very British limitation which many of us carry around: the ‘I don’t deserve‘ limitation.
I am going to turn this notion on its head and I am going to be, oops – I am very thankful, grateful and I believe I am worthy of this honour. After all I work on Confidence, Self Belief and Self Worth issues; therefore a positive, confident and believing attitude is required.
There are many little tools of the trade which can help this process.
See it, Feel it, Taste it, Smell it, Hear it. Visualise. Matrix Reimprint to a Future Self. These sensations fill our subconscious and here’s a little surprise for you
‘the subconscious does not know what is right or wrong – true or false‘
So when I work on deserving my subconscious will believe it to be true.
If you are reading this remember that you too are of value. I have the famous Marianne Williamson ‘Our Deepest Fear’ in the introduction to my book ‘Survive and Thrive after Trauma‘.
Come on folks ‘Let’s All Shine!’
Chuck away the crap that we allow ourselves to drag around.
Next week I shall let you know how it all went, and what dress I wore!
