EFT Tapping: Fear of Being Sick

An EFT Tapping routine: Fear of Being Sick. This 5 minute audio can help take the edge of overwhelming fears of being sick, throwing up or hyperventilating.

The routine goes straight to the 1st Tapping Point at the Top of the Head. You can of course do the 3x Set Up on the Karate Point; remember to be very specific and say where you feel this horrible feeling, give it a colour and shape and size. Be as specific as you can.

Feeling physically unwell: Tapping Audio for dizziness

So, after feeling considerably unwell for a couple of weeks I can now report how things have progressed and I share my EFT Tapping Audio: Dizziness When Physically Unwell  I decided to practice some Self-Healing once my head felt less foggy. I did some simple EFT and was delighted with the results. Perhaps with hindsight, Overwhelm may have played a part in this bout of ill-health. Overwhelm comes in many, many guises and your body responds accordingly to that stress.

Recognise any of these Overwhelm traits?

  • You cram much into your day
  • Life feels out of kilter
  • Spinning out of control
  • Blinkered to slowing and enjoying ‘The Now’
  • Keeping busy to shut out…….

Let’s just use those examples without delving into the great WHY you have allowed this successful Self-Sabotaging behaviour to manifest.

I still have remaining symptoms ( 2 or 3 weeks on) however a week into this I  decided to give EFT a go. Why wouldn’t I? I am a specialist in this area after all! And better late than never. I blame the debilitating dullness of my brain for the delay; the sensations I felt were an incredilbe band/weight of heaviness sitting in my head.

Best Advice (to Self)

Remember that EFT is effective in lowering feelings of stress

Key Point: With EFT I do not need to know your story, only how you feel

However I best explain that I may have Vertigo  or BPPV.  I still have it but it is more manageable. The first 2 days I threw up and felt particularly grim. Now I do the manoeuvers to try to move the crystals in the ear and I do not make sudden head movements. (I’m actually thinking of stopping the manoeuvers as they did not help this morning!) It can take some time to warm-up in the morning but I can go to the gym on a regular basis. Rushing up and out of my bed in the morning; I suspect may land me in a heap. #dramaqueen . However best not to make a melodrama out of this. (I think I wondered what on earth was going on when it started).

So there you have the story, but the story is not necessary. Speaking about the story is just that- speaking. The effect is still held within you at cellular body level; causing emotional imbalance and fodder for any Self-Sabotaging Inner Critic to go to town.

After one week of having this I was really cheesed off, especially with the band of fog and the heaviness sensation I had in my head for fairly long periods of the day.

I sat myself down and started Tapping and within 5  to 10 minutes the thick heaviness had gone. I thanked the Powers That Be and I can report that I was fairly stunned with the results. The band had evaporated and the fogginess gone.

EFT Tapping at its most basic can be classed I suppose as a quick fix. But the quick fix allows you to feel better and get on with the normalitiy of the day whether pleasureable or grim. We are talking real world not magic. The magic comes when you work with a practitioner to question and work with the WHY and the HOW you respond to emotional stress.

Survive and Thrive after Trauma

Hi,  I’m Susan Cowe Miller, Holistic Healing Practitioner and Mentor. I help people with stress and anxiety, facilitating a moving on from fairly heavy emotional trauma, which has a compounded effect on one’s physical health.

I want to share today why I got into this particular aspect of work. About 15 years ago, my life was very stressful, and three big life events slammed into my family setup. My children and I came out the other end of it; my husband sadly died.

I had a strong sense that the stress and anxiety I had gone through would have an effect on me at some point. I had no idea then, what effect it would have, but I had an intuitive understanding that the emotional distress would have consequences. I wasn’t going to come away without being touched by it at a fundamental level.

In time I discovered Reiki, and then EFT Tapping and Matrix Reimprinting. I now use these and my Counselling skills as my main modalities to help people move on from their emotional dramas. Because you know, there really is a huge amount of light at the end of the tunnel.

Life can be joyous, fulfilling, and we do not need to live in the past. We can brush it off by dealing with our demons. The best work I do is when I’m working with a client who is ready to address what’s been stopping them from moving on; a client who has an innate feeling that there is joy that life can offer. A client who is a little like me.

Top Tips to help choose Forgiveness

A wake up call this morning prompted me to write a post sharing tips to help those in need of some forgiveness to Self or forgiveness to others. The act of forgiving can be a crucial emotion to address when self-healing is desired. The Emotional Scale shows that if you run a Mindset running high on Unforgiveness then you are experiencing a highly debilitating and very self-sabotaging emotion. When you move beyond the state of being unforgiving, then you and those around you benefit; the healing vibration ripples out encompassing many.

Why am I writing this today?

Because I have just received a phone call asking if I was coming to do my EFT Talk at CancerWise in Chichester.  I had not put it in my diary. So no I was unable to give my Talk.

Later in the morning I realised that I had indeed put it in my diary.  However when I checked this morning I was ‘a week ahead’! I remember smiling as I checked the diary and had a free day to just get on with the little household things.

Well there you go; beat yourself with stick time. And I’d just been thinking that I was succeeding in allowing a gentler flow, less overwhelm, into my life!

I felt ghastly when I realised what had happened but it prompted this Post.

I am not going to over-egg my mishap. I recognised that I could angst horribly all day over this so I took 5 minutes and Tapped. I do not tap daily but I spent 5 minutes doing some EFT and chose to allow myself to be off the hook.

How to overcome shortcomings

  • Self-Sabotage and the Inner Voice critic can really punish so find something e.g. EFT Tapping, which allows you to forgive yourself; then move on to enjoying or fulfilling the rest of your day.
  • Stress and anxiety are part of our lives but if a panic attack or high anxiety is about to dominate then I suggest- you take time to BREATHE and maintain calm; then move on to enjoying or fulfilling the rest of your day.

Are you guilty of being unforgiving?

My belief is that if you are still reading my Post then you will be able to forgive and move on. Those who feel wholly justified in their state of unforgiveness probably won’t actually be reading on because they are unaware that there is hope, or a need to hope, for better.
